An LEI transfer means moving a Legal Entity Identifier from one service provider to another.
Transfers allow legal entities to choose the provider they prefer. If your LEI is currently managed by another LEI service provider, you can transfer it to NordLEI at no cost.
Transferring an LEI from another provider
A transfer means moving your LEI from an external LEI issuer to NordLEI.
This does not change the LEI itself only which provider manages it. Transfers are free of charge and do not affect the LEI’s status, renewal date, or historical data.
Changing the account holder internally
This applies when the LEI is already managed by NordLEI, but responsibility needs to be reassigned to another person within your organisation.
The current account holder can update the administrator or contact details in the NordLEI portal. If you already have a NordLEI account, you can request to move an LEI between NordLEI account holders when the internal responsible person changes.
See instructions on how to transfer your LEI to NordLEI here.
